Congratulations to all the competitors that entered the Lidgett Trophy. Again this regatta continues to attract junior and senior sailors to compete in the peak training week-end in Victoria for junior sailing.

The Saturday competition took a while to get started as the northerly wind that blew for most of the morning and early afternoon eventually died to allow the Senior Sabot and Minnow sailors to launch.

On Sunday the wind provided all competitors to get out on the water and enjoy some very comfortable winds from the south.

Congratulation to Massimo Fecht from Royal Brighton Yacht Club sailing Blitz for taking out the Senior Sabot prize and Ellie Walker, also from RBYC, sailing Fearless taking out the Intermediate Sabot prize for the weekend. Well done both of you.
