The selection series for the Sabot Nationals will be held this weekend (20/21st October) at Sail Sandy. Please make sure you have entered (Entry Forms and NOR available online at www.syc.com.au). We need as many Sabots on the water as possible so regardless of whether you are planning to go up to Sydney later this year, come and join the Regatta. There are 8 races sheduled over the weekend so there will be lots of race experience to be gained. You may also enter the series on Saturday at SYC. Sue Dale will be at the Registration desk from 8 am. Could ALL Sabot sailors please see Sue and let her know if you are planning to sail at the Nationals (or Sabot Week) at Vaucluse in December.

Peter Gayton is bringing 2 girls over from Tassie to suss out the Victorian competition at Sail Sandy. He has asked if there is any accommodation available for the three of them for this Saturday night. If anyone can put them up (they are happy with their sleeping bags on the floor) please let me know.
Another reminder that preparations are underway for Springsail at Mordialloc on 3rd,4th, and 5th November and we need your entry forms as soon as possible.Wendy Wintersgill has also requested that parents of any kids with special dietary requirements or restrictions please contact her directly.
