This weekend will be the start of the 2008 VSSA Coaching program. Training will be on both Saturday and Sunday at Black Rock, beginning at 10 am. Enrollments are still open but if you have not yet registered, please contact me immediately by email so we can organise the correct number of coaches.
Following the morning coaching session and a break for lunch, the Sabots will join in the first of the Black Rock Icicles Regatta races. Micah will observe and and debrief following the race. Immediately after racing on Saturday, the VSSA will hold its Annual General Meeting at Black Rock together with a barbeque. ALL VSSA members are invited to attend the AGM. We will also be presenting trophies to all the Sabot sailors who took part in the last Nationals in Sydney, who have since left the class to move into new Youth classes.
If any VSSA members have an issue/s they would like included on the agenda for the AGM, they must email me by this Friday with details.
Coaching on Sunday will also commence at 10 am. Please come with suitable footware and clothing for warm-up and training before sailing.
Lets hope for some good weather for the start of the season - at the moment the forecasts look good for both days.
