As promised you will find an Entry Form and Event Poster for the 2006 Black Rock YC Icicle Regatta by following the link below. The Entry Form does not need to be pre-delivered it can be registered on the day. There is a small fee for visitors to the club - $15 for the whole series for Under 18s or $5 per race – so if you are planning to do three or more races you should go for the $15 series entry.
Understanding that some other clubs have not yet finished their own programs, we have negotiated with Black Rock to allow two drops from the six race series to determine the Sabot series winner. This should allow members from virtually all clubs to still complete the Icicle series without adverse penalty.
Starts are at 1.30pm each Saturday.
We are making enquiries about possible storage at the club, and will pass on the response when we have it. The club is pretty tight for storage at the best of times, as you probably know, but I know it would be well received if some boats could be accommodated for the duration, especially given the coaching that is planned to take place over the next six weeks under the VSSA program.
Note to parents: if you are planning to stay around at Black Rock this Saturday afternoon only please bring your wet gear as we have offered to assist if the club is short of race staff on the day.
