Yachting Australia and AOC have announced the athletes sailing in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF) from 18 - 20 January 2007 on Sydney Harbour. The AYOF is an initiative of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) and will be the fourth event of its kind since its inception in 2001. This is the first time competitors aged between 13 - 19 years of age in the sport of sailing have been offered the opportunity to experience the Olympic atmosphere. The Australian athletes were selected by their Member Yachting Association based on their outstanding performances, and the VSSA is proud to claim that five of the six Victorians selected completed their early sailing exclusively in the Sabot. CONGRATULATIONS to Ben, Amy, Jacqueline, Sam and Max. The full Victorian Team comprises - Emma Phillips, Max Taylor, Amy Kivell, Sam Kivell, Ben Gunther and Jacqueline Gurr.

That’s your lot for now, see you tomorrow at Brighton,
